About the Prof.
Our laboratory focuses on the analysis and design of steel structures and long-span cable-supported bridges. We conduct advanced research on the buckling stability of steel structures, fatigue and fracture mechanics analysis, cable vibration, the development of energy dissipation devices, and the design of corrugated steel plate structures. In addition, our research includes three-dimensional finite element analysis of long-span bridges, train–track–bridge interaction, and running safety evaluation for high-speed railway bridges. We also develop dynamic analysis programs for submerged floating tunnels and floating offshore wind turbines. Through extensive analytical studies and experimental validation, we contribute to the advancement of construction technology by publishing research papers, registering patents, and transferring technologies to industry.
